Back in europe

The last week went by so quickly ,haven't had time or internet access to update this blog properly. After updating the last blog, we drove over the atlas mountains heading in a south eastly direction. The scenery really changed quickly from spainsh like to very dry and barren. The desert isn't always just sand, it is very rocky too. We wild camped in the dunes for 4 days. I think the sahara is the most peacefull place on earth, the quiteness is deafening. No sound at all, no roads no tree's rustling no buildings just an infinate horizon. From there we headed across to tan tan where we wild camped on the beach..from there we drove to marrakech and from marrakech to here in santander. Had the best surf this morning also ! Perfect waves and no wind.So that's it, Ferry home tmw..

More preperation

I've been separating into boxes all the gear for the trip today. Picked up three of my favourite boards that should suit most conditions..Their like old acquaintances, I intend to go for a few paddles before I leave. For those that don't know, morocco has some of the most challenging waves in the world, right hand point breaks mainly.Google Anka point and you'll see.
